Loretta’s own organizational leadership background spans more than 22 years and includes line management and consulting experience in Marketing, Public Relations and Sales with pioneering software and technology companies in start-up, turnaround and large corporate environments. She has orchestrated multi-million dollar marketing and customer acquisition campaigns for products and services that have fundamentally changed the way consumers and business professionals use technology. It is this uncommon blend of extensive business and management experience with formal training as a corporate coach and organizational leader that makes Loretta’s involvement so valuable to the individuals and teams she supports. Her specific areas of expertise include leadership competencies, building high-performance teams, executive coaching, strategic marketing and effective management practices.

Seasoned Executive Coach

Loretta is also an Executive Coach with Corporate Edge, Inc. in San Francisco. Corporate Edge provides leadership coaching and consulting that achieves sustainable bottom-line results to world-class executives and their teams. The firm also works closely with Korn Ferry International, the world’s largest provider of executive search solutions, delivering management assessment, executive coaching and organizational consulting services to its Fortune 500 client base.

Loretta is a graduate of Corporate Coach University, International (CCUI) and is trained in a number of diagnostic tools, including: Korn Ferry’s Strategic Management Assessment, The Insights Discovery System, The Leadership Challenge, The Personal Communication Style Inventory (PCSI) and various 360-feedback instruments.

Broad Management Background

Prior to founding Loretta Stagnitto Leadership, Loretta served as VP of Marketing & Customer Acquisition for PhotoPoint.com, an online photo sharing and digital print production service. There she developed personalized marketing and e-commerce strategies to build customer loyalty and retention, growing membership from 150,000 to 1.5 million within 6 months. Loretta also served as VP, Marketing & Sales for Multitude.com and FireTalk.com, a pioneer in real-time, voice-over-Internet collaboration technology. Originally launched as a pay-to-play online game service, she built and ran all marketing, ecommerce, fulfillment and customer support operations. After negotiating international licensing and distribution deals for rights to the game service, she was instrumental in the company’s re-launch as an Internet-based voice communication service, developing strategy documents and investor presentations that raised an additional $30M in funding for the new company.

Loretta has held Director of Marketing positions with Taligent, the historic joint venture between IBM Corp & Apple Computer, and Digital Research, creator of the first graphical user interface. She also served as Director of Corporate and Investor Communications for videogame maker Activision. Her consulting experience includes marketing roles with Hewlett Packard, Sprint, Sega of America, CapCom, 3DO and several start-up firms. Loretta holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from San Jose State University.

Professional Organizations and Community Involvement

Loretta is also very involved in local coaching and consulting circles. She is a member of the International Coach Federation, serves on the program committee of the Northern California Chapter of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association and is an associate member of Women in Consulting. Loretta also serves as a Lead Program mentor for WOMEN Unlimited, Inc. a nationwide organization dedicated to assisting women of diverse organizational, cultural and generational backgrounds in the achievement of parity in the workplace.

In addition to her leadership coaching practice, Loretta also serves on the Strategic Plan Committee at The Hillbrook School in Los Gatos, and is a consultant and volunteer for the Child Abuse Prevention Center (CAPC), which provides award-winning education, training and prevention programs to San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties.
